After two decades in the oilfield, Michael and Dawn Rohrs founded Cyclone Shelters & Septics in 2016. They brought a no-nonsense, technically sound approach to wastewater system design and installation. Cyclone started with a single excavator and a mission to protect Oklahoma’s soil and water through smarter septic solutions.

At Cyclone Septic & Plumbing (formerly Cyclone Septics), our journey has been defined by growth, innovation, and a relentless commitment to protecting Oklahoma homes and businesses. What began in 2016 as Cyclone Shelters & Septics in Piedmont, OK has grown into a trusted name in wastewater and plumbing services across the Oklahoma City metro.
In 2019, we expanded into manufacturing septic tanks, reinforcing our expertise and building solutions from the ground up. A year later, we consolidated our operations in Guthrie, OK, where we’ve continued to grow and serve a wide service area.
By 2022, we sharpened our focus primarily on wastewater and rebranded as Cyclone Septics. This shift allowed us to provide expertise while raising the bar for quality and reliability in septic services.
And in 2025, we took the next step forward by adding plumbing services, giving homeowners and businesses a single trusted partner for two of the most critical – and related – systems in their property.
